The game’s story is derived from the original Digimon anime series of a similar name. The dialogue has voice acting by the anime’s core voice-acting group. Here included are two more songs – Ayumi Miyazaki’s Brave Heart, which is used as an insert for the digital revolution, and Kōji Wada’s Butter-Fly, which opens the series.

The game is a remake of the 1999 anime series, in which seven kids—Taichi Tai, Matt Yamato, Sora, Izzy (Koushiro), Mimi, Joe, and T.K. (Takeru). They carry to the virtual world and befriend monsters known as Digimon. Together, Tai, his friends, and their Digimon companions must use the ability of the Digivice. It is to change their Digimon partners into increasingly strong forms to protect both the Digital World and themselves. Along with unique situations that are only available in this game, the game tells the story of the movie Our War Game!

Gameplay​

At first, there are just seven Digimon partners and personalities easily available. Hikari, the eighth personality, becomes available during the third arc. In a single episode, two main characters’ Digimon partners fight with a single character who takes on the role of squad commander. Mid-episode, the squad commander will have the opportunity to speak with the other personalities. The degree of connection between the two personalities grows by selecting the correct response. Benefits include an assist shot in fighting and the ability to get additional episodes following the primary story.

Six Digimon at most, three on each side, can engage in combat. The user takes manual handling of the other friend Digimon via the tactic’s menu. But by default, the squad boss Digimon controlled them. Every Digimon in the game can perform a variety of turn-based techniques, such as regular harm, unique attacks, item usage, attack defense, and escape from a powerful battle.

The Champion, Ultimate, or Mega forms of the Digimon can be unlocked through the completion of the primary episode. Stats are greatly increased by this. Evolution doesn’t waste turns; instead, it uses up special points (SP). The Digimon return to their Rookie forms after fighting. Sometimes, Digimon transforms before a battle.
