“Driver 76” is a video game that was released in Europe on 11 May 2007 & in the United States on 8 May 2007. The game is previous to Driver: Parallel Lines and appeared two years earlier. It is the only available PSP game in the Driver series.
The story begins around 1976 in New York City with Ray who was a wheelman. Although Jimmy is Chen Chi’s partner already, he still falls in love with her. Ray needs to work while earning money after being mistreated by her father, who had previously respected her. When he finally reunites with Chen Chi’s father Zhou, he informs him that Jimmy is a villain and that you must destroy Jimmy’s empire to win the game.
Gameplay
In this dynamic open setting, players play the personality of a gang driver assigned to risky goals. Exciting automobile chases are an essential part of the game. As you have to beat rival gangs, the police, or just the passing of time. Every mission is different; some include delivering packages, tracking down opponents, or getting out of uncomfortable circumstances.A variety of antique 1970s vehicles, each with its speed and skill, are available for players to select from. Players drive through traffic, avoid obstacles, and pull off amazing stunts as they drive through the fast-paced city. Certain goals also allow you to participate in gunfights, which improves the gameplay.
One thing that separates Driver 76 from the other entries in the Driver series is that the game behaves more like a comic book since it utilizes comic-style designs in place of dramatic cutscenes. There are six chapters including the 26 primary goals. As the player advances through the chapters, the objectives become more challenging. Good goals are awarded with cash, vehicles, and weaponry.
