Another action-adventure video game The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was released in 2005. Vivendi Universal Games published the game. It is based on another Marvel film superhero Hulk. It features an open world with destructible environments. The game’s story follows the Hulk as his human unwittingly influences his alter ego Bruce Banner and his psychotherapist Leonard Samson to create a device that will modify Banner’s psyche. In addition to advancing the player story, players can participate in the game’s side missions.


The series’ development company released a sequel version previously titled Hulk. However, the direction of this new game was influenced by the critical response or reviews of Hulk, which resulted in its emphasis on destruction in its free-roaming gameplay.

It received positive reviews from users upon its release, with reviewers praising the Hulk’s abilities in its open and destructive environment. The game’s features such as challenging levels, controls, move sets, character and effect animations, and audio have been praised. The game was less commercially successful than the previous series.

1. It is a third-person action-adventure game where players control the main character Hulk.
2. Hulk can freely explore the game’s open world between each story-based mission, and players can complete side missions with Hulk.
3. In the bottom-left corner of the console or game device screen is a radar track with various icons indicating mission objectives.
4. Here Hulk can jump great distances, climb walls, attack enemy characters, and pick up and throw large objects like cars and tanks to dispatch groups of enemies.
5. In the game, Hulk can grab several objects and use them as weapons on the enemy.
6. Hulk’s health is shown by a bar in the upper-left corner of the screen.
7. There is a bar below the health bar that fills up when Hulk destroys property.
8. When the Hulk’s health drops to a certain level, the Hulk enters an “adrenaline surge” state.
9. If the Hulk destroys for no reason during free-roaming gameplay, the warning is indicated by an “emergency response meter” in the upper-right corner of the screen.
10. Hulk will earn “Smash Points” by completing missions, destroying property, and defeating enemies.
11. These points can be used to purchase various useful items. Each mission is purchased to unlock additional moves.
